I am excited to announce our Grand Opening! EKOS is officially unveiling its Columbus, Ohio boutique and accepting new clients. The grand opening will be held on Saturday, August 27th starting at 11:00 AM. Located in downtown Columbus at the newly renovated storefront along the Columbus Commons. For this event, we will have live music, food, and drink for our guests. For those of you who have signed up through Facebook, The Knot, and Wedding Wire will receive an invitation in the mail. If you are driving to our location please use the Columbus Commons Main garage for parking. This event is supporting our local YWCA of Columbus. This charity is “dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.” It is a great place to help women in need of resources and education.
EKOS is a wedding and event planning business that will offer a range of customizable planning packages with a contemporary focus to fit into any client’s budget. The business will be owned and managed by Kristina Akhmametyeva, a certified wedding and event planner through Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute. By focusing on doing everything within its power to alleviate a client’s stress as they begin planning their important events, EKOS will provide professional and trained guidance to ensure a top quality outcome is always achieved.
Although the Columbus market is home to roughly 30 wedding planners, 6 of which who portray themselves as specialists in unique event planning, EKOS has a very intimate understanding of the target local market. Columbus is a city of young professionals with access to many diverse job opportunities and a busy lifestyle. Because of this, many couples who are looking for wedding planning services or individuals putting together an event are looking for new and exciting ways to make their celebration memorable without doing it all by themselves.
